For the walls, use a fixed window with no sash and wide casings. For the ceiling, drop in some skylights. Here's a small room I drew up as an example:

Sometimes you've just got to experiment a bit.

Are you using the same shutter on the window as the stand alone? (Bonus Catalogs / Exterior Shutters / Louvered Double Shutter)

Here's a PBR version. make sure your material properties are the same plus you may want to have the shutter stand proud of the wall by an inch.

They look the same to me, are you using the same finish on each one?

Are you trying to change the direction of the louvers?

Try this... Plaster Hood 01.dae

There are several in 3D Warehouse https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search/models?q=plaster+range+hood or if none of those work for you, build your own from polylines converted to 3D solids. There are also a few bonus catalogs you can download from Chief that might have what you need.

Multiple paver stone sizes in a distribution region
ericepv replied to ericepv's topic in General Q & A
They are square and rectangular stones of various sizes. -
I have a bunch of patio stones from a former garden path which I'd like to re-purpose as pavers for a small patio (the white area below). There are 3-4 different sizes of stones and I'm trying to figure out a way to have Chief create a layout pattern in a distribution region. So far, I have not been able to select more than 1 item. Does anyone know of a workaround for what I'm trying to do or am I just asking to much of the software?

How to create a window wall on top of a roof with no floor
ericepv replied to BTWKNZ's topic in General Q & A
Build it as a separate floor: Build / Floor / Build New Floor - Select 'Make new blank plan for the 2nd floor' and draw in your walls then add windows and roof. Select "open below' as your room type. - Eric -

Open 'Settings' in Windows and navigate to 'Devices' and select 'Mouse' from the menu on the left. From there, you can adjust the cursor speed.

Yed, unless you have Auto Rebuild Roof turned on.
