I use FastWeb. Do you know anyone that works at First American Title?
-
I would consider taking the old file and convert to CAD and then import the cad into a fresh file and use it to trace the plan.

Or he wants flying monkeys with cherubs pouring wine with Rubenesque ladies dancing to flute music wearing nothing but a smile (and who doesn't). Hard to know without a picture. Yours is probably more correct than mine.
I had been calling these (the one I posted) items corbels for the longest time but was recently corrected and now I am calling them knee braces.

Here is one. These are very easy to make based on the design you are after.

Anyone else get the My Little Pony song stuck in their head when they see this thread title? O.k., maybe it is just me....

Hide the layers that you don't want to move.

An easy way to grab all the textures you are using in a file is to do a full back up. All the texture images will be contained in the folder.

Don, you have posted in the area where people advertise to offer help rather than seek help.

My problem with the tables is that I can not choose a draw order on those symbols. It is also random. I will bring in a chair and table and all is well. Then I copy the chair and it is no longer below the table.

I have actually written to my Senator with this complaint.
Most of the time I make a fake surface to hide the stool or chair. Polyline with fill.

Jon, is that Jello? Looks delicious.

Do your copy of the plan file using the Edit Area copy command. That can copy all floors at once.

You can place an outlet floating in space but the electrical items from the library don't seem to want to drop into layout. You would need to build your legend in a plan file and then bring the legend from the plan file to the layout file. Or make a cad based one that you store in the library and then drop into layout. See image for an easy outlet to float for creating the legend.

I pasted you on my selfie.

With Auto refresh on, you can not reposition the dimension strings after creation. I am not sure I like that very much. Without Auto Refresh on you can reposition but if you hit Auto dim again you will get a second dimension string in the old location but not doubles of the not moved ones.

Nice Mick. I guess I don't use Auto Dimensions enough.

Sorry Bill. Just trying to add some levity to a Friday. I did not mean to anger you.

They don't override each other. They would be additive just like you are witnessing.

I am not sure if this is too much work but see the attached plan for one idea. Check the settings on the interior wall. The drywall surface is a material region.
