As long as your stairs are closed under, you don't need that yellow wall
-
When you don't have a foundation yet in your plan, Chief will create one for you (in 3d) but it's not in the plan to change it. You've seen it all the time, remove your foundation and take a 3d view, you will see a foundation there.
-
You can place a very thin invisible wall to stop any wall, you might even try the new room devider
-
Are you wanting the slab face changed? If so you are using a phantom slab--not actually a slab, you have to build your foundation, then you can add a material to the face to whatever you want.
-
Try wall type, and what the exterior surface material is.

Thank for verifying, its a bug for sure

Thanks Joe, wish it did. I would like to start using it. This will change if you delete the aerial view and bring it back. I have to think it isn't working properly.

The reference manual is my best friend I have spent many hours with the toilet and the manual. I copied mine but I need to get it in a book because mine takes up 7 binders. It will not be getting any literary awards anytime soon.
A toilet manual Genius idea. I have no idea what to do with my hands most of the time, and by the way, after 7 years of learning Chief, I still learn
something every day. You will never stop learning, its just too much.

Actually I have no eyes, my wife has wired my brain so I would take out trash and do dishes.

Remember too many cad details will slow down Chief.
-
I don't do it that way because I prefer to work to scale (most of my details are 1"=1'-0") and then I send to layout at the scale of the drawing.
You can still draw them in a layout page cad detail to scale, just set the page setup to whatever scale you want to for that detail

I haven't had a problem when I have a plan open, then place my lib on the 2nd monitor and save it that way, the plan then opens correctly with the lib. on the 2nd monitor every time.

Initially, I was thinking the Library but making revisions is too cumbersome.
DISCOVERED THAT MANY YEARS AGO
Standard Details can obviously be in the Default Layout but they still need to be created someplace and sent to layout, so CAD Details seems to make sense at least as a starting point and as a way of being able to make revisions easily.
I create my details in the layout and copy to the lib. very easy to change that way, no more than your way.

ok, now I see it, a very quick blink, truthfully it doesn't bother me but could be something, I'll see if it does it for me or not.
-
You can also just put it outside the layout page and leave it there, it won't print
-
I must be missing something, I don't see any blinking in your videos, it looks ok to me.
-
you should try to update your mouse driver.

No, keep it b/c you never know when you want to work on an X5 job. Plans cannot go back once the have been brought forward to X6

I have all my usual details already on the layout but also keep the overflow in the lib. There are many more in the lib. as there are in the layout.
Of course, that way is not to scale but I never want anyone scaling details anyway
