Canuck
I've been asked by a client to design a garage for a house I did for him last year. He's run out of space for his toys and wants a garage with a carport attached. Easily enough done, but when I looked at the foundation around the semi-enclosed carport portion, the rim joist region isn't filling in. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, how do I fill this part of the structure in? I've tried a "Solid" in this area and it passes, but the exterior layer of the wall on the outside just goes to ground....

DRAWZILLA
Generally, to me, it looks like where a conc. curb would go. Check your foundation. If no curb, check your floor height in the garage
Solution Canuck Posted April 6, 2016 Author Solution Share Posted April 6, 2016 That was my first check Perry. I even compared it to a detached multi-bay I did in March in X-7, and it's the same settings. Anyway, not going to ponder this any longer. I've just created a new template in X8 specifically for garages. This should resolve the issue.
