Dennis_Gavin
Working on a plan in X8 and cannot get window blinds to show. Tried Roman and pleated. Closed and reopened Chief and still no go. Can someone check this on their system?
TheKitchenAbode
Have X8, use the mini blinds all the time without any issues. Will check out the Roman ones. Graham
TheKitchenAbode
Just checked out the Roman ones, works fine. Are you selecting this under the "Blinds" or "Curtain" dialog? Makes a difference. Graham
Dennis_Gavin
I was using blinds. Tried curtains and selected blinds and they show in the dbx but not on the actual window. MIllwork is checked to display. I must be doing something stupid. But it's not like I never did blinds before....

Dennis_Gavin
Just did it in a new plan. I think the problem is I drew CMU stem walls for the basement on level 1. I guess I will have to place manually. No Biggie... Just don't do what I did!!
TheKitchenAbode
Can't duplicate the problem. Have tried both the curtains and blinds dialog. When using the curtain dialog the roman blind mounts over the window and when using the blinds dialog they mount within the window. Also, appears that they are tied to the Window layer so the only way to turn off their display is to turn off the display of the window. Must be related to that stem wall you mention. Joe_Carrick
Sometimes I find that the "Furnishings, Interior" layer needs to be displayed. Also, "Architectural Blocks" may need to be displayed. It really depends on what Symbol you have selected from the Library. They aren't all "Millwork".
