thorn-ecoc
What the ..%#*!.....do I need to do to make this appear proper? I do want 2x10 rafters, and I do want 2x8 fascia. Am I just getting to old for this?....... Give up.plan

tommy1
In general, you want your fascia to be one size larger than your rafter. You're going to have 3D problems with Chief the way you're doing it.
Alaskan_Son
Maybe it would help if you would clarify exactly how you want things to appear. Nothing looks incorrect to me. It looks like you have 2x10 rafters and 2x8 fascia. You just haven't built the framing (or the layer is turned off).
thorn-ecoc
Thought I had responded with my thanks, but I guess not. Anyway.... Thanks, that was simple enough. Glenn's reply was what I needed. I was changing things in the roof options and framing dialog. I remember when CA seemed so much simpler (and faster) to use. One of the reasons I sometimes discourage "progress". So far CA seems to be doing a pretty good job balancing speed, efficiency, and functionality with the number of available features and options.
