keysersoze
Did anyone notice that the electrical label is preset at 16" off fixture? There is no way to adjust this globally that i can find. Just got off phone with ca and they say no specification for this like doors or window labels. It is too far away for me.
DRAWZILLA
Yes , I just turn off the electrical labels b/c those labels are mostly already with the cad block. I also use an electrical legend so I don't need those labels.

William
I like to keep the electrical labels on while I'm placing them so I can see what's what. After selecting an electrical tool, I group select all electrical and change the offset. It's more readable, but not a great solution. On the layout I turn them off and use the Schedule for ID. Did CA address this in X7?
Dermot
"Did CA address this in X7?" Yes. You can edit your electrical defaults in X7 and adjust the label info and/or position however you like. The label information is also kept for electrical objects that are saved into the library now too. In prior versions, this information would get lost when you saved it into the library (like it still does for fixture and furniture objects). DRAWZILLA
Speaking of electrical, the (OC) occupancy sensor switch, has been changed to, (VS)Vacancy Sensor, b/c they really just turn off when you leave ,and do not turn on when you arrive in the room. At least here in California. The cad block should be changed or add a new one in the future
