Remodeling In Chief Architect For Interior Design

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just realized there are no remodel layer sets or existing conditions...in chief for interiors...

Oversight?  Right?

So now the question is do I build my own Remodel layer set or do I just add some new layers and add those to existing layer sets?

I would need:

Walls: demolition

Ceiling: demolition

Floor: demolition

Millwork: demolition

Fixtures: demolition

Electrical: demolition

HVAC: demolition,

etc...

I am a newbie, so my skill level is quite beginnerish.  If I just add to an existing layer set, which one(s)?

You should be asking this question in the "question and answers" section. The response will be better.

You have to create your own walls, really easy.

sounds like you have HD Interiors ???

If so, you should probably repost on the Hometalk forum

while HD PRO users can benefit from this forum, the other HD products

should use the Hometalk forum

There are no layers or layer sets for demolition in the Interior Design version of Chief.  I am thinking of using a new layer called demo walls which would be part of the demo layer set demolition.  But I understand you can't have layers over each other like you can in Vectorworks.  Any suggestions?
