RL-inc
I have issues with soffits from time to time and was wondering if I could get some guidance. In the attached screen shots you can see that I have a very simple shed roof design for a modern plan. in the view for the clerestory area over the deck you can see that the soffits under the upper end have varying steps. Not sure why. I have the ceiling unchecked for the adjacent room which runs all the way across that section.
Joe_Carrick
It is rare that any of us can answer based on just a couple of pics. If you post the Plan it's a lot easier for us to see what you've done (right or wrong) and figure out how to fix it.

Joe_Carrick
1. Close the Plan 2. Zip it 3. Attach the zipped file
jbaehmer
When you click "More Reply Options", there are two steps to attaching a plan. First you "Choose" the file you want to upload. I think this is where people generally get confused because you have chosen the file, but not actually uploaded. Once it is "chosen", right underneath is "Attach" button. This is when the file is actually attached.

Joe_Carrick
Rob,There may be a couple of small artifacts left (maybe roof plane related) - but the main thing is to uncheck "Roof Over this Room" for the 2nd floor Deck. That will fix the Soffits.
