I'm not using Chief's Project Mode but loading a large Layout and Plan is about 5 times faster. Library searches are also pretty fast. I'll definetly be purchasing a license. Chief need to sort out their performance and then if some power users want to use something like RAM File System for extra speed for some folders (potentially using auto persist options on shutdown) for an extra boost then that's fine. As a developer, I know that developers and testers will often have far cleaner and lower content installs than most end users. I do wonder if Chief is using the standard approach of running automatic tests using a wide variety of customer matching data levels and OS versions to ensure performance never gets worse on the same hardware (ideally improves).
