Build Wall Framing

I am having trouble building wall framing. I have plans with wall framing in them, but now I'm lost. using CX17. The roof framing builds but not walls. Nothing is locked.

Look at build, framing menu. Wall section build one time.

I have done that. I can get the roof framing but no walls. Checked the layers all are one none are locked.

It only builds framing wall on interior was, no exterior wall framing.

Look at your wall type specification, make sure you have framing in the main layer

Are you automatically building the wall framing or are you manually building it?  It's pretty easy to just select a wall and say "build framing for selected object" to build it.  If it doesn't actually build any framing, then it is something wrong with your wall.  99% chance that you did something to the wall type when this is the case.  Most likely you don't have the main wall layer set to be framing*.  If it's not that, then you should probably post your plan.

 

*In Michael's picture above, note how the "framing" checkbox that is below the table is not checked.  You need to make sure that it is checked for the wall's "main layer".

I see that I didn't have the framing layer selected in the screen grab. Hence framing not checked. 

As DB Cooper said make sure it is checked when the line is selected.
