Don't update to NVidia 610.62 Driver as chief architect X17 unexpectedly quit.

Issue is persistent since version 610.47

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

We've done some testing on our end and have confirmed that there is an ongoing issue with the NVidia 610.47 driver and the NVidia RTX 40 series. So far this seems to be specific to the NVidia RTX 40 series and we have not reproduced it on the 30 or 50 series. 

 

The current solution is to roll back to a previous April driver. If you would like assistance rolling back your driver please contact our Technical Support Team.

that looks to be the studio version of the driver? is that what you are using?

Beside testing, will you provide an ETA for a fix on this issue?

Same Issue here...  Everything was fine until I updated to 610.42....  updated to the refreshed 610 ver today (6/16/26) and same result.  Went back to 610.47..  still no worky

Driver: Game Ready Driver - 610.47 - Tue May 26, 2026
CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K
RAM: 64.0 GB
Storage (3): SSD - 1.8 TB,SSD - 1.8 TB,+1 more

Graphics card
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
Direct3D feature level: 12_1

Additional info- went back to 596.36 per the note above and all works now
