davyjones Posted yesterday at 06:33 AM Share Posted yesterday at 06:33 AM I'm having a few issues with the porch. In the 3d view, the edge is showing on the left side. Also the front has a square front on the right and not the left. Also there is a random hole on the right side in front of the garage. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get fix these issues.
Gawdzira Posted yesterday at 01:56 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:56 PM (edited) It is caused by the location of this wall. Try moving it towards the 8' porch and that will allow the full height of the 10' section to extend upwards. CharlesVolz Posted yesterday at 03:00 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:00 PM Or (Option 2), cover that wall with this roof plane...

Gawdzira Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM Look for an attic wall at that location
CharlesVolz Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM Share Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM It looks like you moved the wall AND the roof plane edge. If the roof plane covers the wall, you will not have that problem. This fix may not be how you prefer to fix it. It is just one way. It is getting better, but still not there.
Gawdzira
What floor are you looking on? The attic wall in that location would be on floor

JiAngelo
That invisible wall is 10' tall which means the 8' porch roof is stopping automatically at the wall, butting against it, not through it. Follow @CharlesVolz Option #2 above and extend the roofline to the other side of that wall is the quickest and easiest solution. You can wait and do it last if you still need autoroof turned on to finish up other design details. Edited 10 hours ago by JiAngelo typos
