Hello.  I have not posted much but have read alit of your tips.  Very helpful, so thank you.  Wanted to ask, how do you folks deal with the typical wall sections required for permitting?  I used AutoCAD for 20 years before switching to Chief, and I would never think of going back, but I still use it for my wall sections since I have not found a good way to generate a detailed section in Chief.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Using X16 not 12.... Thanks in advance.

You can do one of the following:

- draw them from scratch

- import them from another cad program

- start with a stock one and then modify it (there are some available in the cad block libraries)

- start with a cross section view and then add whatever cad, dimensions, and annotations you need

- start with a cross section view and then convert it into a cad detail using the cad detail from view" tool
