Hello All,

I want to  hide the dormers, dormer Roofs, from the 2nd floor plan view in the Electrical Plan View.  I have everything for dormers turned off, but here I am.

This is a Cape Style building.  I placed the dormers on the 1st floor roof.

The screen shot is attached as is the plan.

Thanks in advance,

Lane

Thanks Ken.  Next question, how did you move the dormers from one level to another?  I assume the roof has to be moved, and not just displayed above?

Click on the roof. There is are a couple buttons that become available. One moves the roof plane up and the other vice versa.1807148156_Screenshot2025-12-30at4_04_40PM.thumb.png.419ec4f774a8b31ae6eb9abc89ea6a48.png

Thanks, I thought that was only to display the roof above or below.

But I worked it out with a combination of "F*&k this, what a piece of sh*t, who the h*ll programmed this".

Thanks again,

Happy New Year

it is.... As Chris mentioned. Occasionally, I will change the display to different floors depending on where I need to see it at the time. Generally tho I show the roof on the first floor OR on the floor where it mostly bears.

I have moments like that too. BUT, I just remind myself that I had way more of those moments when I used SoftPlan. AND a lot of those moments are self imposed.
