blueriver
Hi! Can someone offer advice on possibly picture settings? When taking a picture with the full camera and then saving it - the saved image is very condensed left to right. The picture that saves is not the same as what's on my screen - everything looks very squished. Help! Lauren running x14 THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! blueriver
Like this bathtub picture - this bathtub is 6foot, but my picture makes it look like it's only 4 feet! Any ideas what i have going on here?
DBCooper
Are you using the "export picture" tool? Do you have "retain aspect ratio" checked? I think if you don't have retain aspect ratio, and you turn off "use active window size", you can accidently squish or stretch the picture. If you need the image to be a different aspect ratio, then either set your window size first or edit the picture in a photoshop type program to crop it after exporting it. Joe_Carrick
I would use the Window Snipping Tool to create the picture. 1

Have you tried adjusting the resolution or aspect ratio before saving the image? This can sometimes help avoid the squished appearance. You might also want to check if there's a specific setting for image compression that could be causing this.
