DenisonDrywall
Why does it keep giving me a hill here when all the elevations lines to the right of the porch are set to the same of -1'9"? If I move the elevation line right up next to the porch and elevation region, it makes it worse. I don't understand as to why its putting in extra contour lines everywhere. DenisonDrywall
Thank you so much! Now if i can only figure out why its putting grass in the porch. but that's minor compared to what i was fighting. So the elevation lines can't touch each other? DBCooper
Chief doesn't cutout terrain for porches and decks. You can add a manual terrain hole or use the "make terrain hole around building" tool and then edit the shape to go around the porch.
Chief_Trent
2 hours ago, DenisonDrywall said: So the elevation lines can't touch each other? If you have overlapping elevation lines, you're telling the program "make the height at this spot both the height of line 1 and the height of line 2." If those heights are different, Chief has to figure out how to make one location have two different heights, which isn't physically possible, and causes some issues.
