Dimensioning wall frame details: why won't end to end dimensioning work everywhere?

I'm dimensioning wall frame elevations for a job that will be panelized.  Take a look at this segment of the plan.  The two walls I'll discuss here are the 2x6 ones that are on both sides of bedroom 2.

Here is the left one.  All walls have a "front" side, even interior walls like these, and the framing view that comes up when selected, is the view from the front.  For this one, I can use the end to end dimensioning tool.

Here is the right one.  Again, this wall is viewed from its "outside."  End to end dimensioning won't work on this one, so I used point to point.

So, why this behavior, end to end only working on some elevations, but not others?

I used to run the CAD department and QA/QC of a panel factory and we had our own software. (Walplus from Mitek) No one ever gave us anything that was dimensioned to individual framing members.

You’re a good man.

The important part is stack framing from a single framing reference so that floor joists, wall studs, and any other items like ceiling joists or rafters are all in alignment so plumbing and other trades can transit vertically without issue.
