Latest project is to add 20' to the rear of this existing shotgun style house for a master bedroom.  In the video I highlight the existing roof and the new.. when I grab the section of the new to pull down for a little awning over the slider, the eave on the existing and new change, even though the settings do not.  Not finding a way to put the eave back to what their supposed to be.  Any ideas?  Should this little awning be its own roof pane?

Hi @mtldesigns My thoughts, are your roofs on separate layers or on the same one ? If not you could try putting the old roof on a new layer “called existing roof” and then see if it still happens. If it still happens then, it’s try something else :).

Check "Higher Eaves Boxed" in your roof dialog and that will fix your issue

Thanks, that worked.  Curious though on why both roof planes changes that eave when I only modified one?  This is something I will note, since the I won't be doing that lower eave after all.

It was tough for me to give you the "solution" John, since I am from the state to the north.. but live in FL.  (don't tell my fam)  Go Blue.

Been to Tampa and there about in 99. Nice place

It is nice, daughter lives there now.  I'd love to visit Australia but the worlds most deadliest anything (animals on land and the sea) are down that way.  I'm too far north for boa's.
