Doors Interior Vs. Exterior

Is there a way to change a door designation from interior to exterior in the door dbx? I have door exiting the home onto a porch that is going in as an interior door making it to where I can't control the casing on both sides.

No, but you don't need to in order to change the casing.  Just check the box for "separate trim and materials".

@PitMan71The only way to change the door designation from interior to exterior would be to delete and replace the door. The interior/exterior depends on the Room Type on either side of the door, so it was likely placed before specifying the porch as a porch room. 

 

However, there is a setting that will allow you to control the casing and materials on either side of the door. You can open the Door Specification and at the bottom of the General panel check the box for "Separate Trim and Materials on Each Side".

Get this right if you want an exterior door on the schedule/material list. Interior vs exterior door thicknesses, cores, thresholds, seals, etc. are different.
