Ed_Orum
I have created a layout file which I want to use as a template for future layouts. When I open this layout file, I get a "Warning # 272012024 One or more layout boxes in this layout are linked to a Cad detail, but cannot find the CAD detail in the linked plan." How do I find which is the missing CAD detail in the layout? Thanks, Lane
robdyck
Open the layout box and review the Linked View. That should point you in the right direction to either relink the view or remove that layout box from your layout page. You can also copy the missing cad detail to the linked plan and then relink that layout box.
rlackore Posted yesterday at 02:51 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:51 PM That warning doesn't help you find the specific Layout Box that contains the missing detail that is throwing the error. Remember to turn "on" the Layout Box Borders layer, then page through the Layout to find any "empty" layout boxes.
CarrieS
Layout boxes that have missing references should show a caution triangle. So you should just have to page through your layout looking for the triangle. Once you find the layout box you can delete it or relink it to what you need it to point to. 1
