Pony Wall Plan Display "Trick"

I have a pretty complex basement foundation wall with existing masonry below and stud framing above.  In addition, there's new interior full height furring.  A lot going on:

 

 

I show the upper wall in plan, but I wanted to also clarify in plan what's going on below.  Then, it occurred to me I can just break the wall for a short length and switch that pony wall section to "Display in Plan View" to show the lower wall.  A couple of CAD break lines and I'll wrap up by adding a plan note to clarify...

 

 

Nothing earth shattering, but I thought pretty nifty.

Clever solution.

 

I suppose you could capture that with CAD Detail from View & make  cad block. Then close the wall again.

That way it would not show up on Electrical & HVAC plan views.

Just a thought.
