Line Weights/Color Floor Plan View

I am using Chief 16.

I wanted to know if there was a way to get my line weights for the floor plan view to look like pencil sketches or technical drawings.

I don't know the exact terminology, so I have provided pictures.

You can make it to look like your last picture. Solid wall type fill, turn off casing inside and outside. Pick a script type font.

Where would I go specifically for that? I know it might be obvious, but I am still learning the software.

You can get very close to #2.

 

Select one door, then all doors in the plan using Match Properties, and set the 3D Display to Show Open:

 

Then go to:

3D > Create Orthographic View > Orthographic Full Overview

3D > View Direction > Top View

3D > Rendering Techniques > Hand Drawn Lines

3D > Camera View Options > Cross Section Slider

Check the top option and set the cut to around 60" or wherever you see the door header cropped out, so the doors look right:

 

Send this to layout, Live View > Update on Demand

 

Return to the floor plan, and turn off all layers except Room Labels and Rooms, Interior Dimensions:

 

Send this to layout and position in place over the previously sent view:

 

 

Voila!

You can also turn on Display Poche in Edit Active View if you want to display a fill on the walls.
