How to create a window wall on top of a roof with no floor

Hello All

 

Just a passion project, but I'm trying to create a 1200mm x 1200mm x 1200mm (47.24409 inch) window on top of the roof.  It has no floor letting in light into the space.  I've been able to peel back the roof by creating a square poly at 1200mm x 1200mm and centering it over the roof, then cutting the roof plane and dragging them to match the square poly, leaving the open roof, but can't figure out how to create the window.

 

I've tried to create a 3rd floor, but unable to define a wall with no floor to be able to put windows in.

 

I've attached the plan file.

 

Any help would be most appreciated.

Build it as a separate floor:

 

Build / Floor / Build New Floor - Select 'Make new blank plan for the 2nd floor' and draw in your walls then add windows and roof. Select "open below' as your room type.
