mikesbarn
Just a little while ago my computer seized and shut down. A windows error I think. When I tried to open the plan and layout file I was using at the time it shut down I got an error message " DocumentFactory.cpp(586): Warning #272015538 "Unable to read the file "C:/Users/USER/OneDrive/Documents/Walker Residence/Walker Hybrid.plan". This file does not have a valid header record." 04/18/2025 01:30:19 PM Build: 26.3.0.10 Windows 64-bit I had just hit the save button little while ago and assumed their would be a back up file. I cant seem to find any back ups. Any suggestions on how I might restore this file? If it matters it's a X16 file. Mike
ericepv
Edit / Preferences / General / Folders / All Program Paths: click on 'Show ' - Look for 'Archives Folder' and the path will be shown. From there, you can open an archive copy of your plan,

SusanC
Your signature doesn't mention if you are on a PC or a Mac, but this is how I find archived files: Open the Documents folder on your computer. Click on X16 Data Click on Archives Then you will be able to see backup copies of files you've been working on. Good luck!
