Why use new corner centering

Please give examples of its use.  I'm clueless as to its benefits.

Here is a (somewhat contrived) example, I want to move the window and sink base to the other wall and keep the same distance from the corner.  I can just reflect it about the corner but in X15 I would have had to draw a cad line first.

But that's a mirror or reflect op.  How does the corner CL help in a center-on move?
