Michael_Gia
Hey, anyone else getting this? I keep getting this error even after I verify, make available, and whatever else to my product key.
DRAWZILLA
I get something like that when trying to save it, sent it in to T.S. but they couldn't tell me why this was happening. I usually have to shut down and re-start to get rid of it. funny thing is it still saves the plan but says it can't save the plan in the message. Thanks for saying that. I just checked and the plan was indeed saved with the most recent changes despite the error message. I restarted and it seems to work so far. I did have to deactivate and reactivate the product key.
CarrieS
With the MacOS Sequoia update, a feature called Private Wi-fi address may cause issues with activation or authentication if you're connected to a network wirelessly.https://support.apple.com/en-us/102509 If you are continuously prompted to activate you may need to turn this feature off for any wireless networks you connect to. Rosco2017
I work from home and an office and I get this message everyday. Called Chief Tech Support and they helped me change the settings but It still persists. So for now I make sure I go into my digital locker and deactivate my license and reactivate it whenever I move from office to office. That seems to be an annoying but reliable fix. Solution CarrieS Posted February 11 Solution Share Posted February 11 Hi, Chief Architect has a program update available to resolve the activation issue introduced in Mac OS Sequoia (Mac OS version 15). This patch applies to Chief Architect X16 and Home Designer 2025 products. Prior to installing this update, you will first need to deactivate your software. After the patch is installed, the software will activate on your computer and resolve the activation issue caused by changing Wi-Fi networks. Please note that after the patch is installed, X16 and Home Designer 2025 will be using different identifiers than prior versions so if you switch between this version and an earlier version (like X15 or Home Designer 2024) you will need to deactivate. Patch Installation Instructions: Sign in to your Chief Architect Account: https://accounts.chiefarchitect.com/digital-locker Click on the "MAKE AVAILABLE" button under your product key. Click the "DOWNLOAD" link. Choose "Mac" then download and install the patch. If you have any questions about the process please contact our Technical Support team.
