Can I delete a 3D library on my computer once it's been imported into the Chief Architect program?

I need to make some space on my laptop hard drive and was wondering if I am able to delete the 3D product libraries located on my computer once they have been successfully imported into the Chief Architect program? If I delete them off my computer, will they also be removed from the program?

Another way to create space on your drive is to get rid of duplicate archive files (Edit / Preferences / General / Folders / Show all program paths) and also check your downloads folder. You may surprised by how much space those items take up.

If you mean the .calib files, the answer is:

• Go ahead.  The symbols are stored in the Chief Database Folder.

Got 6 bucks? Why not get a thumb drive from

Walmart and transfer the files there. That way

you get the freed up disk space and still have

the files should you ever need them.
