can't import or convert .alb files

i bought two folders worth of content from rabbitt 

I cant install ,import or convert the files i keep getting this error message 

i am using x 12 

The following files could not be converted due to product or version incompatibility:

ArchedSoldiers

You will likely need to ask for a refund from Rene, unless he has old versions of those Files as it been 3-4 yrs since He worked in X12 is my guess.

 

I am a bit surprised the error message mentioned .alb files though, but they can still be imported Via the Library Menu > Convert Legacy.

Had no idea that was even an option. Have you tried it before?

Not for a few years now, but the option has always been there (since the change over) , you however may not like the textures etc ;)

No, that option doesn't work for me in X12. Chief should get rid of that as on option unless it works in newer versions. If I remember right, you had to import the .alb files into a much earlier version like X1 or X2 first. Then export it as a .calibz file.
