cbucks
Curious for those who use zip system how they have their wall type setup? Is there a way I can import a wall type for this?
Gawdzira
Do you want to show a wall type for ZipR? Or are you trying to show the tape lines? For a ZipR panel, it would be just a matter of adding an appropriately sized layer to your wall assembly. For the tape lines, dear gawd, why? Just tell the contractor to read the damn instructions. RobDesLLC
I created seamless textures for taped green and red ZIP System sheathing Photoshop, and then created materials in my user library. I have substituted these for the standard OSB sheathing in the Wall Type DBX when needed, and adjusted the layer thickness appropriately. It populates correctly on my material lists, but doesn't calculate tape (and there's no need for that). I took a similar approach to Advantech subfloor sheathing. SNestor
This isn't perfect but it should give you a start.. Here is my CALIBZ file...just drag it into a plan and it will add it to your library. Advantech Zip Sheathing Material.calibz
