GregoryAChilds
I'm creating a pass-through window from the kitchen to the dining room and need assistance to add a vertical tambour door/shutter. Also, how do I widen the window sill to 20 inches? Thanks for any tips.
DBCooper
You could try a louvered window and it might look good enough. You could also use a garage door with a lot of vertical panels but I couldn't figure out how to get a sill or casing on the bottom.
Renerabbitt
You could also create a custom window if you want more of the louvered pantry look: Can be complicated to create though
GeneDavis
A tambour door would have the cassette on one side or the other. I'd be inclined to make a symbol with solids to do that, set onto a passthrough window.
GregoryAChilds
Thanks for your suggestions! but I've changed my mind about how to cover the pass-through. The photo shows the dining room side, I will remove the back of the opening for access to the kitchen and design a panel covering that will fold down to form a shelf on the sill for bar seating on the dining room side. Again, thank you for your help. Greg
