problem with wall connecting to the ceiling

I got everythiing else to work. But I still do not understand why the wall and ceiling will not connect. I checked the wall hieght and says the same for both.  Can anyone explain.I am not looking for someone to do it, just help.

If all you want to do is close that gap and you don't care about the ceiling height being correct, you can open up that wall and select Balloon Through Ceiling in the structure tab.

 

 

If you want the lower slope of the ceiling planes to match your room ceiling height, open up your ceiling planes and select radio button to lock pitch at 6, then enter 109 1/8" for the Bottom Height of ceiling planes.

 

Then you probably want to open up each of your trusses and select the radio button for Force Truss Rebuild if you want your trusses to have a flat seat to sit on the wall.

I should mention that I made those adjustments in X15, but it should work the same in prior versions of Chief.

I did everything and thanks, the only thing that did not happen was the flat seat at the truss bottom after rebuild.

Okay good, hopefully that gets you close enough for what you need. The flat truss seat thing could be because of X15, truss framing in general seems to work better so far in X15.

Set you ceiling plane inside wall heights to match your rough ceiling height (or visa versa).

 

I would also align your ceiling plane baselines correctly, or at least the same relative to the walls they rest on.
