Remove backdrop on floor plan and elevations

I added a gray backdrop to my floor plan and elevations and now when I send it to the layout as a image it as the gray backdrop. how do I remove the backdrop in the floor plan mode so it doesn't send over to the layout with a gray background ?

You are not using Chief's send to layout by its intended and designed use. Is there a reason you are sending as an image? Simple solution is send as something other than an image, which would be preferred.
Also consider putting your specs schedule in a CAD detail and send to layout

Our cabinet install drawings are done in cabinet vision software. so I imported an image of cabinet vision drawings to CA . when I send it to the layout im doing it as a image. ill look into the CAD detail. I'm new to CA so still trying to figure it out! thanks much

You can import directly into the Layout if needed too.

 

Did you change your Background Color perhaps?   

 

Edit > Preferences > Appearance > Color

Why can't you use Chief for cabinets?  Are you going straight to CNC and cutting lists and hardware buying using Cabinet Vision?

 

Are you aware of all Chief's cabinet capabilities?
