lburgess6624
Im trying to put in a garage door 16 ft wide by 14 ft tall in a post frame opening. i have made the rough opening 1" narrower than the door width and 1/2" shorter than the door height. i want to put the door on the inside of the framing layer. i cannot figure out how to offset the door
DavidJPotter
You would be better served to use the software as it was programmed to be used as opposed to what it sounds like you want it to do. You might take a long, careful look at the door dialog box to see what adjustments can be made to achieve your desired result. The ONLY controls that exist for a door or window object will be found its its dialog box and NOWHERE else.. DJP
glennw
Have a play with the settings on the Jamb panel in the door dbx.
rlackore
AFAIK, Chief can't model an overhead sectional door correctly OOB. There is no setting in the door dialog box that will approximate the actual condition of a garage door installation. I would be happy to be wrong, if someone can show us how (work-arounds not included).
