DRAWZILLA
For me, I would just use the cad as a blocked background and trace the walls using Chief

rwdozier
In the library, there are scads of CAD Blocks and Details in the Chief Architect Core Catalogs and Chief Architect Bonus Catalogs. Edit to meet your needs.
joey_martin
Why can't you edit them? Did you import them onto a locked layer? Too many questions. CAD Details? CAD Plans? CAD Elevations? What are you trying to do? I bring CAD details in all the time and adapt them to what I need and then save to the library. No reason you can't do the same.
