winterdd
Is there a bug in X13 that causes this (canted drywall)? It never used to happen. See below, The roof was auto-built with 2x8 rafters.
Bob_Johnston
I don't know why that's happening (which makes my comment somewhat pointless) but that birdsmouth cut is way too deep. Code around here is no more than 1/3 of the rafter depth can be removed for a birdsmouth.

I mean the top plate height is correct in the settings too.
winterdd
It's like it is trying to take into account 2x6 rafters.....I will figure it out.

CharlesVolz
Howdy Rob, I cannot explain how you got there because I do not know the plan's history. My guess is that you edited an auto generated roof plane AND said okay to the warning that popped up saying that you had auto roofs on. From the X13 help file: "When an automatically generated roof plane is modified, the program marks it as "edited", giving you the option of retaining it when the roof is rebuilt. Uncheck this box to remove this status from the selected roof plane. See Rebuilding Roofs. Mark as Edited is only available for automatically generated roof planes. If a manually drawn roof plane is selected, the words Manual Roof Plane will display here instead." I hope that helps. Charles
