Does Anyone Know What 'reader' Would Work With An Old Chief Version-Version 10?

I have the old version and want to send a file to someone. My drawing looks great and works great but I don't have the new version. The on line reader doesn't seem to work? Can any one assist?

Send it as a "PDF", I do it every time. Everyone has Adobe Reader, if not its free for download.

Hi, My version doesn't allow me to save as a .pdf....   as it is an older version....works great for my purposes now .... I can export as ..dwg  or .dxf.....  etc...but the only 'save as' is called just a 'layout' file.

Back then you had to print to pdf.

Well, I print to my HP 130 from 'Layout' and it works great! My problem is having someone else print/view remotely. They are going to download the trial version and see if they can see my layout files that way. They tried to open it in a photo viewer of some sorts but the "x-refed" files didnt make it to layout...just the annotations. We will see! Thanks for the time spent-appreciate it.

you choose your PDF printer as your printer and hit print and a window will come up as to where you want to save it to. Save it,then you just send that file.

install a PDF Print Driver as Perry mentioned, I still use the one recommended by Chief back then, works great and adds nothing to your system like some others, you just get a short advertising window pop up for 20 secs or so when you save and it "prints" the PDF to your screen .

I think I have an old "client viewer" cd floating around somewhere.

 

But printing to a PDF will be very easy.   I like Bullzip PDF printer.   Free too!
