sthieldesign
I recieved a Revit DWG file and only see some of the layers. All the walls are missing. I haven't had this happen before. Do I need to do something special with these files? I have attached the DWG file I received. 843903671_206Monarch-3DModel(3).dwg

Kbird1
Chief only imports 2D DWGs ( from the modelspace ) as far as I know ....... ( file name suggests a 3D model? ) https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00283/troubleshooting-dwg-dxf-file-import-issues.html Mick. ACADuser
In CAD I exploded blocks & then flattened the drawing, see attached. But because it's a two story the layers are not separated. You might be better off using a pdf. Or have then export one floor at a time (2 CAD files) 843903671_206Monarch-3DModel(3)AB.dwg

Allan is showing it in Autocad I think not Chief , it looks like that in TurboCAD for me too , it is a 3D model as I thought, however Chief will import it, but once you import it into Chief, ALL the imported Layers are OFF (not displayed) once checked on you will see them like this... or with a black background As it is a 3D model I would go back to the Source if possible and ask for a 2D DWG for each Floor.... MarkMc
Wandered in after a lull, bit off today from dental surgery so.... printed a top view to PDF on archD at 1/4", converted PDF to dwg used default settings and did not check to see if it was set to scale up (sometimes it is) Line weights get a bit heavy in the DWG after conversion. Both included. _206Monarch-3DModel(3).zip
