StudioDesignLLC
Hello, I am currently working on a kitchen remodel, when looking at the wall elevations we always see the end cabinets get cut out because of the adjacent walls. Is there a way to not show these cabinets? (Just like 2020Software elevations)
DavidJPotter
The wall elevation camera includes ONLY what is in the room perpendicular to its viewpoint. To include or exclude a cabinet or cabinets one changes the extent of the room with an invisible wall to extend or distend the rooms width and thus the camera's field of view. MarkMc
I'm guessing that seeing inside the cabinet is what the issue for you is? You could cover it in elevation with a polyline with solid filler color of your choice. You can even add the line that is in 2020 iof you like. Could even keep one for base cabinets and one for wall cabinets in you library to just plop in there... You could clean up layout lines once sent to layout BUT do that just before printing because updates will bring the lines back... OR you could adjust to it happy knowing you don't have to deal with the crashes and other nonsense any more :)

I always send as plot lines which makes it easy to snap to all linework in the view. This makes very quick work of covering with a solid filled patch IN LAYOUT that only needs to be adjusted if the changes affect that particular cabinet profile. Also, you can break and create steps in your elevation camera section lines to create a little jog around the problem cabinets.

That usually loses the floor or wall line or both. Since the OP is aking for what 2020 does a mask is closer.
