bkennedy74 0 Posted December 27, 2020 HI all. I have a kitchen that I am remodelling, and while I don't have the whole house in chief I have the kitchen and dining room dimensioned out. I need to create some layout framing plans for the city, but when I change my layerset to framing and choose the 'ceiling joist direction' tool and indicate the direction, I can only ever get 'cj 2x6 @ 16 O.C'. The ceiling joists are actually 2x8's? Thanks

bkennedy74 0 Posted December 27, 2020 @solverno I haven't changed from the default. This is the default. @dshall I did try that, but there are no options to change the actual size,
solver 1636 Posted December 27, 2020 Post a screen capture of the ceiling structure dialog, a cross section etc to verify the size. You can also attach the plan file -- close from Chief first. And please check your messages.
bkennedy74 0 Posted December 27, 2020 not sure how to do the ceiling structure. there are probably a few things missing as it is as I said only 2 rooms. Attached is the plan file. Using macosx. chief prem 11 - build 21.3.1.1 Daniele Kitchen.plan
