Refence grid on Layout drawings

Recommended Posts

I would like to have my reference grid print on  one page of my Layout set. I toggle it on and can see it in layout but it doesn't print.

I am using X9

The reference grid is a non-printing item.  Just make your own using lines and the Multiple Copy tool.

If you want it to print, just make some cad lines and copy/repeat. I have a layer for my 11x17 sheets in a light gray for when I want to have a 1/4" or 1/8" grid display for sketching or field work.

Or you could just make a poly line box or select the area and use the fill to make whatever scale grid you want.

Don't forget to select whether or not you want a background color or transparent.

Yes. When I did the cad lines for my layout it was back in the golden age of an unmasked population and lack of grid control.
