k2ski3
HI, I am having problems installing X12 on my iMac Pro. During the X12 install, X12 opens up and prevents the install from completing. Once I close X12, the install "successfully completes". When I open X12, there is no application window, & only shows "Chief Architect" in the menu bar. When I close the application, I get three error messages; 1.) "Cannot open toolbar configuration file (/Users/k2k/Documents/Chief Architect Premier X12 Data/Toolbars/custTBSet.dat) to store the toolbar information. in the program." 2.) /Users/autobuild/p4sync/dev/Releases/22.1/chief/source/Toolbar/ToolbarIO.cpp(406): Warning #272001053 "Cannot open toolbar configuration file (/Users/k2k/Documents/Chief Architect Premier X12 Data/Toolbars/custom tools.toolbar) to store the toolbar information. in the program." 3.) /Users/autobuild/p4sync/dev/Releases/22.1/chief/source/Toolbar/LibraryButtonRepository.cpp(50): Warning #272032139 "The toolbar file "/Users/k2k/Documents/Chief Architect Premier X12 Data/Toolbars/libraryItems.tbdata" could not be saved. It may be read only." I have tried removing X10 first, moving the X10 folder to a new location & name, and reinstalling but I end up with the same issue and error messages. Thanks for your time & help! Regards, Kevin
TheKitchenAbode
Not familiar with those messages but I believe after you have the successful installation notification you should do a full reboot of your system before opening up X12. They do post installation instructions in the download window in your digital locker, might be worth a read to make sure you are not missing an important installation step.
