POSSIBLE BUG X12 full release referenced plan files

Recommended Posts

Just linking up a new layout  to my plan file, but when I go tools/ layout/ referenced plan files. which should link all layouts referencing a plan file ie floor / elevations /sections sub floor/ roof etc. It will not hold the selection. I start with each layout file linked to a blank plan file then when I open a new layout from the template file I just have to relink the plan file to have most of my pages populated. in the final release of X12 this is not happening, I have to relink each layout box.

Anybody else found this?? I did not see the problem in beta 1.

Did you do the update that came out shortly after the final release? It was not well publicized.

Thanks guys it appears to be fixed in the latest update. wish CA would make it obvious when there are updates available.

Under Preferences>General, you can set Chief to check for updates on a daily basis, if you wish.

By default the program should automatically check for updates once a day.  If you have turned this off or increased the time in your preferences, then you can always check manually using the menus:   Help>Download Program Updates.

Dermot

I had changed it to 3 days but have never seen anything telling me there is an update unless it is a new version.

checking manually is fine but people are too busy to think about doing such things.
