DrDigAZ
Hey guys, I just downloaded the trial version (C.A. Pemier X11 Trial). I have drawn a slab for an outside, attached patio but I would like to add rebar to it and I can't find how. Also, I need to add 16"x16" footings along the outside edge, underneath the patio slab for supporting the roof. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Toby
DrDigAZ
Rebar is what the plans I'm working with call for due to the high clay content of the soil and the 10% expansion as a result. I am trying to estimate for a concrete bid.
Kbird1
Specify footing in the Slab DBX ( dialog box), ( Or use Slab with Footing Tool to begin with..same tool really) the Rebar and Mess will need to be done manually if you want to "see" them, but will be included in a Materials list.... just checked..... but may not be what you want as spec'd in your area? Kbird1
2 minutes ago, solver said: You will need to create a room and give it a Room Type, then build a foundation. I'd suggest a Slab room type. maybe a better option as the Slab Tool does this auto ...see above....so you can't specify the bar AFAIK, so using a "Room" may work better for you
DRAWZILLA
to show rebar, you will have to add rebar manually in a cad detail or section . not automatic
tommy1
I show all steel and rebar in cad details. That is what the engineer wants and the planning department.
