RodCole Posted January 9, 2020 Share Posted January 9, 2020 My guess is that this is what is referred to as fireflies in other rendering programs. The solution is, like you have found, to allow more time to refine the image. The other issue is on the development side where the programmers find alternative ways to render the scene from a technical standpoint that does not produce fireflies in the first place. PamelaMellon Posted January 10, 2020 Share Posted January 10, 2020 Rod, something to think about, Caustics turned off, materials adjusted etc. have never seen this before. Slowly desolving . My suspected , uneducated guess is that they are back layering and to the pendant in the dressing room which has highly reflective elements, crystal fobs etc. and the sconces are adjacent to the reflective quality of the adjacent windows.
