mikes616
I have a roof that has no overhang at the eave and has a large fascia & frieze but the gable ends just have a 1"x6" trim board. Somehow, when I build the roof that way, the trim on the gable end becomes as large as the fascia. I want the 1x6 trim on the gable ens. See attached. Any suggestions? Thanks. Mark you have the frieze on the gables at 11" and the fascia on the eave at 11". adjust accordingly.
mikes616
How do I add a frieze under the eave? Sorry if this is a dopey question. Mark

As Eric suggested above...you might consider using molding lines to create the lattice panel under the porch... You may also want to watch my video on building porches with columns...the columns on your front porch are hanging over the front edge of the Porch. The fix is fairly simple.
