BillsburgChief
I know I've done this before, but can't for the life of me remember how I did it. I have room that needs a flat 10' ceiling while the rest of the rooms are at 9'. How do can I raise it w/o raisng the others?
BillsburgChief
All my rooms are already defined by walls, when I raise the one I want to, all the rooms raise.

Billy, it would be best if you post the plan (take it from me) or you'll just keep getting "best guesses" and aside from it taking the answerer away from their work, (not being mean) it is a waste of their time, and yours if you really want a good answer, (and quicker in most cases) post the plan. Mark3D
it sound to me you are changing the defaults not by opening a single room and changing its ceiling height
builtright3
Here is a video. It talks about adjusting the ceiling height at the beginning of it. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/69/ceiling-basics.html?playlist=
