dhowardaia
I don't want fill on the labels. what does this check box do?? It doesn't seem to have any effect
rlackore
That checkbox applies only to text boxes, which most labels don't use. AFAIK, only the Room Label uses a text box.
CJSpud
I just put a light in a plan from the tool bar. When I go to display options, the electrical label for the light has the default text style. When I click on Define > Edit and then put a check in that box, the light label text box has a transparent fill and if I uncheck the box again, I can see that it has a fill again. I have the grid on to see these changes. I would think that you would see the same behavior on your end.
rlackore
Curt you are correct. I missed that entirely. Thank you.
Joe_Carrick
Curt, If you save that light to the user library after making the fill transparent - does it come in as transparent when you select and place it from the user library? Yes, of course it does. The problem is that we can't edit the symbols except in the User Library or in the Plan, so anything from Chief's Libraries have solid fill and you have to either modify the Text Style or select a different Text Style. CJSpud
Yes, it comes in with a transparent fill .... but as long as the original, or the new copy of the light are selected, they temporarily show a fill ... once they are unselected, the fill goes away.
