rockyshepheard
Is there a way to selectively lock some or all geometry while working on a few sections of roof so after I achieve my goal, I don't notice changes elsewhere I did not expect? Thanks
Chopsaw
Go as far as you can with presets and then turn off Auto Rebuild and continue and there should not be any surprises. You could work with two roof plane layers and lock the ones that you have finalized if you are worried about selecting or dragging one by mistake.
rockyshepheard
Hi Chopsaw, Do you mean 'roof auto rebuild' or is there an auto rebuild that applies to other geometry as well? Yes. Locking ones other than the ones I'm working on. Any idea where that lock is? Thank you! Rocky
Kbird1
Yes Auto Roof rebuild..... but to lock individual Roof Planes you need to put them on a new "Roof Planes-Locked" Layer for example and then lock it...... the down side is that you can no longer then use the Auto Join Tool as you can't select locked layers. Chopsaw
You can lock layers that you create or stock layers in ALDO ( Active Layer Display Options ) Or even unlock layers that are locked by default for special manual operations. Yes there are other locking options hidden throughout the program.
