dswadejr
All, I am trying to recreate the window set as seen in the picture. The left and right are easy but how do I make the pentagon shape in the middle? All of the arches are curved or come out as a triangle. The help area only comes up with three "custom shapes" and I have not had any luck finding any other tutorials online to help. Any advice? Thanks, Darrell

Douglas49
Eric Is there a quick way of getting the raking jambs parallel to the roof, or do you just adjust settings until it looks right?
MPDesign
Hi Doug, Open the shape tab in the window dbx. click match roof.

This works for a single window sloped one way but not a Tudor Arch as Eric used above , so some math using Roof Pitch and Run should do it or CAD Lines as Eric showed to get the height. Douglas49
Thanks Eric Agree, 'match roof', 'make parallel' or whatever would be really helpful. I use this window shape quite regularly

Yet another example of an incomplete function. +1 a PITA that doesn't have to be.
